After last week, it's pretty obvious McGwire probably used steroids....afterall, he didi plead the 5th when he was asked whether he used steroids.

Now there are questions as to whether he should be inducted into the baseball hall of fame. What do you think? Is he hall of fame material, even if he sued steroids? What about Barry Bonds, for that matter? Looks like he used steroids as well.

Mark is a friend of my cousins and Dave introduced me when I was in California in 1995. Really nice guy. Except for the steroids, he is very much a great role model for our "yoots."

Letting him into the record books, would be like spitting in the face of all the old baseball players who actually worked hard to get those records..WITHOUT STEROIDS...now don't get me wrong...i'm not saying he didn't work hard...i'm just saying...he had a little bit of help that they didn't

I'd say why not, there's other cheaters in the Hall. If he goes in though, does Pete Rose get in as well? Rose is the Major League leader in career hits after all.

I agree with flyingcowz. The ones who are in there now, earned it through their hard work, not with the help of steroids.

So he would get the Hall of Fame while other people guilty of the exact same thing are currently rotting in a prison cell?

I don't care what he did, in earning his record, he broke the law. Screw him.

I tend to agree. His record is tarnished at this point, anyhow.

I really hope he enjoyed this moment......because it is all over now. No more smiles or celebrating.

Don't forget he gets to look forward to having early onset heart disease from his abuse of steroids.
