Okay, maybe it's just me....I watched the Bama vs. Auburn game today. Sure Auburn won! But come on....look how suck and 1 dimensional Bama was. I couldn't help but wonder, with OU's great run defense, and our top-notch offense, we would've put way more than 21 points on the board against Bama! And I bet we wouldn't have allowed 13 points to be scored on us! Winning over Bama is not impressive. Winning over Bama by only 8 points is even less impressive. And the commentators still just think Auburn is so impressive. Whatever!

If Auburn had to face some of the multi-dimensional offenses that we've faced, i.e., Texas, Texas A & M, OSU, Oregon, or even a hig flying offense like Tech, they would've lost a game.
The SEC has been overrated for years now, and this year is no exception. Personally though, I think USC has an even weaker schedule. I mean come on....who have they played all year other than Cal? Auburn will beat Tennessee easily. I just hope voters look at more than just ranking because Tennessee is way over rated. Heck, they barely beat Vanderbilt yesterday. But of course they have many injured players as well, including their QB. Too bad Auburn didn't have to play Georgia again.....the SEC championship game is in Atlanta....I have a feeling Georgia would win the second time around. Oh well, when we make it to the Orange Bowl we'll at least finally shut up USC once and for all. If USC shus down Adrian Peterson, we'll just turn to Jason White, and have him tear them up for awhile. We have such a talented balanced offense this year, thanks to the addition of Peterson. Peterson and White are a great combination. Hmmm...just wait until next year. Next year they'll not only have to worry about a passing offense and Adrian Peterson, but they'll also have to worry about a running QB by the name of Paul Thompson! Go Sooners! |

Texas multi-dimentional? You mean if the Running Back isn't running, the QB is?
Seriously though, OU had a much tougher schedule this year than last, and the fact that the north just absolutety sucks, they should be in the national championship game come January whenever-the-heck-the-game-is. So Cal's going on the Repeat Champs card so that leaves Auburn out in my opinion, unless So Cal loses to Notre Dame (won't happen) or the people polls realize that I could beat everyone on So Cal's schedule by myself (also won't happen). I wouldn't mind OU being champs this year at all. |

Yeah, forget what I said about Texas. I don't know why I included them on the list!
I just looked at USC's schedule.....seriously, who have they played all season? Their schedule is worse than Auburn's. Cal is about it. Let's see, other than that you have, in their non-conference schedule, VA Tech (okay, I'll admit, that's a decent team), Colorado State (weak), BYU (very weak), Notre Dame (ahhhh....no better than Nebraska in my opinion). In their conference schedule you have Cal (a very decent team but no better than Texas in my opinion), Stanford (a weak team.....and USC barely beat them), Arizona State (no better than Colorado or Nebraska), Washington (weak), Washington State (weak), Oregon State (weak), Arizona (very very weak), and UCLA (no better than a team in Nig 12 North). Decent teams for USC: VA Tech, Cal Decent teams for Auburn: Tennessee, Georgia, LSU....their non-conference opponents were horrible. Decent teams for OU: Texas, Texas A&M, OSU......I might even put Bowling Green or Texas Tech into the mix. |

No, you need to put Bowling Green on your decent teams...Everyone except me expected OU to just run wild and everything but BG showed everyone what the MAC can do...but maybe I'm just saying that because of my Big 10/MAC bias...

BG has definitely turned their season around since that early loss. They've been quite impressive. They're 24 in the Coach's Poll and 26 in the AP Poll. Sure it's no Big 12, but an 8-2 record is still pretty impressive. Personally I felt putting up 24 points on OU was impressive, for a team that we were supposed to roll over. We only beat them by 16 points.
