Default $814 million Improve Our Tulsa 2 passes easily

The proposals passed with 60% to 70% of the vote
    https://tulsaworld.com/news/local/go...2e275fecf.html

    Streets and Transportation: $295.8M
    • Inflation Adjustment for Previously Approved Street Projects: $93.8M
    • Citywide Routine and Preventive Maintenance: $68M
    • Street Widening: $46M

    City Facilities: $270.4M
    • Tulsa Performing Arts Center: $79.7M
    • Public Safety Center: $47.5M
    • Zoo: $25.7M
    • Gilcrease Matching Funds: $10M

    Housing and Neighborhoods: $95M
    • Housing $75M

Some highlights are the inflation adjustments for some billion dollars in previously approved streets projects and $25 million for the zoo. The $80m for the PAC is just a down payment of an overall $300m planned redo of the facility. I assume a lot of that will be raised privately. Long range plan for the PAC:

The new $47m public safety center will allow the closing of the Police and Fire building next to the convention center. The city is planning on a RFP for a new convention hotel like OKC's Omni on that site. The county has also started the project to possibly replace the County Courthouse next door as well. Here's the city of Tulsa's arena district master plan:

The $10m for Gilcrease is for a matching offer in private money as the last part of needed funding for the new $150 million main building for the museum. Here's a recent story on the construction progress: https://www.newson6.com/story/64c195...uction-project

Last big item is the $75 million for affordable housing and housing for the homeless.

Yes. These are mostly infrastructure and city facility upgrades.

I'm still confused about the TPAC. This apparently addresses pressing needs (new roof, ADA ramps, etc) but does it also engage the design team for the larger $300M project? That is the next transformational project for downtown Tulsa that I'm hopeful begins to move forward.
