We just need 1 more win to secure 3 seed, and then after that I say shut it down. We should be able to beat the Kings/Spurs without SGA and JDUB. I say let them two rest for as long as we can. But maybe bring JDUB back against the Kings to secure the win.

I hope you're right. But not sure where this confidence comes from with the Kings. We've beat them twice in the last 13 matchups. And until the last win, they took the previous 8 in a row. Monk going down was big for them. And I'm not a Sabonis fan, but that dude owns us.

5. Durant’s agents finds some stupid technicality to get his contract with Phoenix voided, he becomes a free agent (one can dream)
6. Sam Presti signs KD to Thunder roster
7. Sam Presti waives Durant immediately and without warning. Sends KD a text containing only a flip-off emoji.
8. Every other team in the league tries to pick him up off waivers
9. Due to NBA rules the team with the worst record gets him (look it up, that’s how it works)
10. KD goes to Detroit on a new multi year deal, rots in purgatory for the final years of his career
11. Thunder reels off multiple titles while Cupcake watches and records podcasts from his couch

Durant realizes he made a big time screw up; he's got too much pride to admit it was on 'him.'

Myself, I don't want him back, he lost his rights of redemption--showed his sagging draws. He achieved (his goal) getting a ring with GSW and endured the harsh 'backlash and shaming' he received from Draymond Green.

OKC has got pride. Wash any thoughts of a Durant return out-of-our-hair. Sure we can forgive him, it doesn't mean we have to forget how he abandoned ship.

I would say the "perfect" fit is Nikola Jokic or Giannis.

There is a zero percent chance of Draymond ever wearing a Thunder jersey. Even if he fit on the court, he has the potential to destroy the locker room with his antics.

I don't harbor any resentment toward Kevin Durant. He is a great player who made a business decision and doesn't say bad things about OKC. He sure helped us to become a Big League City in an impossibly short time. He was a foundational piece of a franchise that is the envy of the NBA, as it relates to player development and management. I heard JJ Redick and LeBron James rave about the Thunder on the podcast a couple weeks ago. KD in OKC was a great player...any team any era.
