    Northwest OKC Bad Chx

There are two banners posted on the Farah Mart property at NW 36th and N. Portland that say Coming Soon BAD CHX hot chicken.
Thier website says they're based out of Houston. https://www.badchx.com/

I wonder if it will just be a food truck, like the other one that is often parked there?

There have been no permits filed of any kind for that location.

I'm pretty sure this will be a food truck, as I confirmed they have one in Texas as well:

Really wish all of those tracts could be put to higher and better uses.

I drove by there the there day and was impressed with how that intersection and especially the sw corner strip center had reinvented itself into a little international corner. The gas station nw needs some love but that corner is much more than it has been for the last 20 years

As of today, OKC has another Nashville hot chicken option, as BAD CHX opens their food truck at NW 36th & Portland.

To celebrate the grand opening, they are offering 50% off all menu items on Saturday (today) and will be giving away a Playstation5.

BAD CHX has three popular locations in Texas and offers a menu of chicken sandwiches, burritos, tacos, and tenders (choose your spice level) as well as fries, mozzarella sticks, coleslaw, fried pickles and drinks.

Hours are 11 AM to 11 PM every day.

Drove by there earlier today and the parking lot was full of people either in line or waiting for food.

Interesting how that same site has had (IIRC) a Halal food truck set up for quite a while.

Yes, I think the two trucks and the property owner are all somehow affiliated.

That Halal truck seems to do very well.
