I’m happy to see this area get some infill. It’s always perplexed me, as development has moved north, west, and now east from here, how this area has remained empty. I think the land at the SE corner of May and Memorial is the most well-positioned vacant land in all of north OKC and can’t believe it’s never been built out.
Schools?
I believe that area is in Edmond schools.
But as for the corner, that’s obviously commercial or office. So schools wouldn’t matter in that case anyway.
Who is the developer? Looks like some 1,200 sq. ft. to mostly ~1,550 sq ft. homes.
Looks like a great development, close to all of the retail/entertainment. Do we know any more about this?
Pete, not to nitpick, but this is well underway and I noticed the sign said Highland "Point" not Park.
I dunno about these. I'm sure they will sell, but being in the middle of a sea of apartments just doesn't seem very desirable to me .
It would certainly help if there were a lot more trees and landscaping in general - like in the medians of the boulevards. The area looks quite desolate and not well kept. I was home in OKC this weekend and happened to be driving on 164th/15th a couple of miles west of Broadway. Even though the general area looked exceedingly average, it was enhanced to a surprising degree by the landscaped medians. Kind of surprised me.
