BUT according to USA today athletic dept fiancé database Osu did not receive money in 2017. I hope that continues
    It’s apples and oranges.

The original statement was Osu needs to step it up.
I responded, they did. To a tune of 1 billion with a b dollar campaign that just ended. It’s going to take a few years before the effects of that are felt.
He said it went to athletics.
That’s fake news and bullsh*t. Every penny went to academics, mostly to endow scholarships and professor chairs.

The few million bucks the school kicks to athletics (which they are getting an amazing ROI on btw, enrollment and athletic success are correlated. It’s not a big shock the schools enrollment is way up as they’ve gotten better at football. Same for Alabama, random schools who do well in March madness like Florida gulf coast, etc. ) has nothing to do with any of this.

Have you ever seen a post on this message board that did not represent someone's "perspective and sense of reality"?

Don't pretty much all posts on this message board represent someone's "perspective and sense of reality"?

Here is a link to the perspective and sense of reality of one of the top education reporters in the country who broke down the nonsense of university rankings that people reference as if they have anything to do with educational quality (not one criteria measures educational quality in any meaningful way): https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...-in-junk-out/?
