Arcadian Inn B&B leveled

Driving by the other day I noticed they had leveled the former Arcadian Inn Bed and Breakfast in Edmond near the NW corner of 2nd and University.

The place had definitely seen better days the last time I recall paying any attention to it.

Any idea what's going in it's place?

Yep. Pretty quickly too. The main house was was very unique. I'm guessing the cost to move it was prohibitive.

Knew someone who was supposed to stay there a few years ago. They checked in and immediately checked out. Said the room was horrible.

That's too bad... I had stayed in that B&B before (in the room above the garage) a nd it was really nice.... Granted that was about 15 years ago but the service and the breakfast was top notch and I still tell people about the double European shower the room had.

Well, that's very sad. I always thought that was a beautiful property. I had no idea it was in such poor shape - but surely someone could have renovated it and turned it around.

They'll also be demo-ing St. Mary's once they build a new facility, as they completed a land swap for land UCO had adjacent to St. Mary's school property on Broadway & Covell.
