Good to see OKC clinch. I haven't been following for the past month or so, but will be again over the next couple weeks. And Westbrook better get that MVP.

Billy Donovan has done an outstanding job with positioning players to complement one another as he goes deep into the lineup. Any team that loses a franchise player like Durant as we did would have a difficult time getting his team back into the mix.
Westbrook deserves the credit with his banner year (Triple-double average); this proves that he's not a ball hog as he leads the league in points averaged, his rebounds & assists stats are off the charts.
Well... sh*t
Thunder as a 6th seed is essentially set in stone now.
Thought they could make a push, but losses to bad teams hurt.
I just got to St Louis and checked the NBA app. I couldn't believe my eyes. Losses like this hurt.
I like the six seed, I think we can beat the Rockets and I would rather take our chances with the Spurs in the second round than the Warriors
He wasn't perfect, but this loss is on everyone not named Westbrook, losses like this are what may very well keep the MVP out of his reach. Meanwhile, the Rockets can play without a couple of starters, including Hardin, and are still crushing the Suns on the road. Hardin's having a great season, but it's too bad this individual award is so team success dependent. Hardin has WAYYYYY more to work with. It will be an interesting off-season to see what moves we make. The big contract for Adam's is worrisome to me, he has played no where near worthy of that this year. Vent over :-)
I actually think the Thunder match up best with the Spurs, Jazz, and Clippers (in that order). I don't like the Houston match up. I just think they have too much offensive talent. Having said that, maybe in the playoffs the Thunder can step up the defensive intensity, play tighter on their shooters, and force them out of their 3s and lay-ups game. The Thunder will be underdogs against any team in the 1st round so it'll be tough regardless.
Just happy we made the playoffs after the Durant fiasco. That and it has been awesome to watch Westbrook have one of the best seasons ever. Next interesting stop for me will be what they do in the offseason not the playoffs.

On Wednesday, Russell Westbrook will come face-to-face with the man he's been chasing all season.
Oscar Robertson landed in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night and is expected to attend the Thunder's season-finale at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Wednesday. Westbrook didn't play in Tuesday's 100-98 win against Minnesota, but is expected to play in the Thunder's final home game before headed to Houston for the first round of the NBA playoffs.
playoff schedule has been announced
we get a "8:30" tip off, which we all know is more like a 8:45 tip, at least its on a Friday night.
