    I was just talking to someone about how I was the original broker for the "Mustang Trade Center" when it was developed in the 1980's.

    I did a lot of the leases and land deals shown in those pictures.

    It's amazing how much of that has even changed in the last 15 years. It's also funny to see things that haven't changed, like Arby's lol. That building needs to be remodeled or torn down and rebuilt. It's pretty bad inside.

    I'm sure that IS tough to swallow. We all have our neighborhood centers that were once bustling with activity that are now gone. No question that WalMart played a huge role in their demise.

    That shopping center has since been re-purposed and looks better than ever.

    I'm sure it does. I was just lamenting the "old days," and lost small retail.

    Wow. Just found this thread. I moved to Mustang, June 1980. Those pics bring back a lot of memories. Big Ed's made a killer breakfast. Literally if you start talking cholesterol.
