I like it. Reminds me of the new Police HQ.

Hard to tell but they are pretty far along on the interior finishes here.

I bet they wrap this up in the next 60 days or so.

They are almost finished with this project.

Won't be long before the big move then the demolition of the old building that sits between here and the new police HQ.

Hope they get some interesting in the city jail RFP.

What are those buildings (apartments?) just to the east? I have never seen those. Is that a rendering?

I guess I did know about those I must have forgotten. I never really am in that area whenever I am in town so it makes sense they dropped off my radar. Thanks for finding that. That entire area is looking good!

They have already moved into this facility and there will be a ribbon cutting for the media this afternoon.

Don't think I can make it but I'm sure other outlets will provide plenty of interior photos.

The old building should be coming down soon.

    Release from the City:

New Municipal Court building officially open for business Oct. 31

Official business at Oklahoma City Municipal Court moves from the old building to the recently completed new building across the street on Oct. 31.

People with business to conduct at the Court will use the old building, 700 Couch Drive, through Monday, Oct. 30. Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 31, the new building will be open across the street at 701 Couch Drive.

Couch Drive will be closed between Lee and Shartel avenues from 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30 during the move.

City leaders cut the ribbon on the new building in September, and Court staff have been preparing for the move to the new building ever since. Business operations at the Court have been unaffected and will continue as normal through the move.

The Municipal Court staff thanks residents in advance for their patience and understanding while the move is under way.
