I noticed it is hooked up now as of a week or two ago, but yes no light from it yet.

Rode my bike around Deep Deuce today and snapped some pictures of some small projects.

I really like this small development just south of Maywood.

This project that sits between the brownstones is really disappointing. Almost no details. Super plain. As long as other residences are built east of it, it won't really be noticeable. (sorry for the sideways picture, I never understand why that happens once I post on the site)

These new residences are along 3rd and really look great. In my opinion, they contrast well with the other brownstones.

I remember when this little addition went in and it seemed out of place, but you hardly notice it now that another building butts up against it. This is from the back of the building obviously. Pretty rare to have a little yard like this in the core.

Much needed fresh coat of paint going up on the bridge now.

It’s being painted because there is going to be a public art project installed on this bridge. Rather than a mural in this case it is going to involve lighting.

Just don’t touch the 2007 Hokey Okie train with people waving out of a 19th century steam engine!!!!

I am sure there’s a plan to address this as they finish up construction, but it’s pretty amazing there’s still no sidewalk connecting Deep Deuce to Bricktown along Russell M. Perry. If you want to walk from your expensive condo in the into Bricktown you just have to walk in the street with cars speeding along.

Haven't seen anything about it on here yet, but running down 2nd street over lunch I saw a a coming soon sign. A new restaurant called Whiskey Biscuit. Apologies if there's another thread about it. They already have a website up, though it looks like very much a work in progress, with lots of stock photography.

Whiskey Biscuit in Deep Deuce... not to be confused with Whiskey Chicks in Bricktown, but let's put both Deep Deuce and Bricktown is in the page name, oy.

As well as damn near completely forget about punctuation, grammar, and spell-check, just painful to read. Hope their food's better than their Facebook page, lol...

Oh yeah, one of their posts confused me. Said they serve breakfast all day and all night and brunch on Sat/Sun. Um, isn't brunch kind of implied if you serve breakfast all day and all night? I just might not have the "brunch" concept figured out, but seems unnecessarily unneeded and redundant.

I guess I have just missed that ODOT For Sale Sign on the lot directly to the East of DD Grill. Noticed it yesterday when my dog was sniffing around. It is directly behind (south) of the new house construction that was discussed above (post 262).

The house at 300 NE 3rd (corner of 3rd and Central) is now listed as pending. The list price had been lowered to $700K recently. Will be interesting to see the plan is for that property.

They may have a special brunch menu that isn't available outside of the weekend brunch. Items that take more prep and/or not enough sales during the week to justify keeping prepped or on hand except during the much busier weekend brunch hours. They may also have brunch cocktail specials.

Colorful lighting currently getting installed under the bridge into Deep Deuce! Glad to finally see this one getting some love.
