Is this going to be a carbon-copy of the Edmond location?

I work near there. There is a ton of utility work being done right now. Once construction starts, I would be happy to get pics daily.

    I hope so.

OKC needs more grocery stores like it and less like the Homeland at 122nd and May.

Someone has started work on the southwest corner of Kerry and May, looks to be commercial, with the building footprint to the south most side of the lot, and what would appear to be room for a parking lot on the north side. Still no idea what these will be, though. I'll try and take a picture, unless there's a separate thread for these plots.

A lot of dirt work has been going on for the last couple of days and a construction fence has been installed.

Went by here a few days ago and walls are going up.

The shell looks to be nearly complete.

I'll try to grab a pic next time I'm nearby.

I would venture to guess late November/December on an opening.

They've advertised a November opening. I'm hoping early November.

I'm sure they're trying their hardest to be open before Thanksgiving.

I hate to parrot Pete but does anyone know of either a soft opening or a grand opening?

Talked to a Buy For Less employee....looks like it could be January. They keep running into issues getting it completed.

Was by there a couple of days ago, looks like the shell's finally up, but no windows yet.

They are now hiring, so they are moving along.

Any news on a grand opening date and time? I was checking out the Uptown Grocery Co. website and there is a definite calendar entry on February 4th for "Ask Our Dietitian" at 2:00pm at the new May Ave & Britton Rd location.

Someone on Facebook called and their marketing director said they're shooting for end of this month. I have seen food delivery trucks in the back the past few days.

I'll have to give them a try, would be a nice change from the Belle Isle Walmart.

Place looks awesome! Seems like a grocery store with that facade would look amazing in midtown.

    Hopefully so.

I believe there is enough rooftops in Heritage Hills/Mesta Park to support it, plus all the new apartments coming online. My guess is the issue would be the parking.
