That was before my time living in the neighborhood. Here's a more recent story about development of the vacant lot where Pauline's was. I thought I remembered the City of Bethany trying to get it developed commercially and even may have had signs with the City of Bethany contact info on it. It would be fine with me if it stayed vacant as close as it is to the trails and kayak launch area for Stinchcomb.

Developer hopes to build commercial project near Lake Overholser

Ah, here is info on the driving range / theather on Abandoned Oklahoma. Seems it was a golf course before being a drive-in...

Might have been a golf course before it was a drive-in theater but it was a driving range long after the movies stopped rolling. I watched the net construction project and then after they opened, drove a few buckets with friends. That was in the '80s I think. Maybe late seventies.

It was a nine hole, full size and not par 3, golf course from 1922, or so,
until the mid to late 40's. It would have included the area that's the
Stinchcomb Wildlife park. The drive-in may have opened in 1952.

Snug Harbor was west of the old 66 bridge just past the second curve. It was out on a pier. Seems like it fell victim to a fire toward the end of its life. For a while there were still some of the pilings in the water where it used to be.

Snug Harbor bar was on the north side of the street from that old pier. For some reason, my grandmother pointed out the place when we past it.
