Hey Pete, "Politics" posts are showing up in the "Latest Posts" - is this intentional? Some of those links are super incendiary and I'd love to not have to see them

I’ll just be glad when tomorrow comes and goes and we”ll be spared political TV and radio ads for a while!

There was a tread awhile back, it changed, but seemingly only for some people. Latest posts now shows Politics, while New posts does not.

On my desktop, when I click "LATEST POSTS", it excludes the politics forum. Using a mobile browser, I see it all.

I've noticed that if you have the setting "Exclude forums from "What's New":" set for politics, the politics forum DOESN'T show up under latest posts, but does show up under "What's New". If you don't have that setting for enabled, politics shows up under latest, but not under what's new. So sort of opposite.

THANK YOU! This fixed it for me.

For those of you not familiar with what Jerrywall is talking about:
    1. Click the Settings link in the upper right hand corner of this page to go to the User Control Panel. Alternately, click THIS LINK to take you there.
    2. In the navigation menu on the left, under the heading My Settings, find General Settings and click on it.
    3. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and find the setting labelled Exclude forums from "What's New". Click on -- Politics to select it. If you want to select multiple forums, hold down CTRL and click the additional forums you want to exclude.
    4. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom, then click the Latest Posts link at the top of the page. Voilą, no more politics posts in the Latest Posts feed!

Interesting. I had done this in the past, but apparently it somehow was unselected. Still listed, just not selected. Thank you.
