It may not have been suicide but stupidity with medications. I don't have a clue and in reality neither does anybody else. Sadly his condition was noticed by others but sadly nobody took the chance to intervene. I may only pass this way once so please let me do what I can since I may never pass this way again.

He didn't say he stands behind his claim. He said he takes full responsibility for what he said. That's not the same thing even if he didn't back down on the statement.
