This would go north of the Capitol a bit, off 32nd and Lincoln. The new facility would also house another state entity, maybe two others. Their appropriations for their rent would aid in retiring the bonds.

Is this in addition to the Oklahoma Employees Credit Union Building on the west side of Lincoln and south of NE 30th and the OK Finance Building on the same side of Lincoln just north of NE 30th... Both are quite large and under construction (Finance may be complete by now).

Is this another big building set for that area?

To answer my own question, yes this would be another large structure in addition to the two I mentioned.

However, it sounds like the funding is not yet secured:

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Two proposed state bond issues totaling $75 million have been approved by a Senate panel, although a key budget negotiator in the House says they're unlikely to be considered this year.

State Sen. Clark Jolley introduced two bills on Monday in a Senate appropriations committee. One would authorize a $40 million bond issue for a new building for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, and a second would allow a $25 million bond issue for the Medical Examiner's Office for a new laboratory.

Both bills were approved by the committee, but the chairman of the House Appropriations and Budget Committee said he doesn't plan to hear them in the House.

My bad. I thought they had gotten the DVA through and killed off the other bond issues. Should of rechecked, given that my memory isn't usually one to be cited by others. Sorry folks.
