Thread: Lots East & West of Carls Jr??

Default Lots East & West of Carls Jr??

I've heard that the lot east of Carls Jr. is supposed to be a Dickey's BBQ, but I have to admit it doesn't look like a BBQ place to me?!?

I also noticed there is something going in just west of Carls Jr. Anyone know anything about that?

A Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Schlotzky's and Cinnabon are also supposed to be built in the same area.

Cool, especially Schlotzky's and Cinnabon. I couldn't find out much about Five Guys except to say their menu doesn't offer a lot of selections.
Just curious where did you get this info ?

Really excited about 5 Guys! We went for the first time a few weeks back in Pittsburgh. Very good, but expensive. Split the fries if you go!

Yikes! Looks like someone needs to build a gym next to 5 Guys!

From an article on "Food Porn" http://www.wtop.com/?nid=25&sid=2124737

The group, which some call the food police, knocks Five Guys for its 700-calorie hamburger and its fries (620 calories for the small and 1,460 for the large). Five Guys is "no friend to your hips," CSPI says, pointing to the bacon cheeseburger and large fries adding up to 2,380 calories.

The news about the 5 guys going in here has pretty much made my holiday season. Let's just say that the discussion about the "best burger" in the country usually involves In and Out and 5 guys...

This is awesome, awesome, awesome news.
