That is the rub here. No one wanted to purchase this asset before the earthquake/occ issues became public. Who in their right mind would buy it now, for any price, knowing the inherent risk? No...

I was always under the impression that the owner was posturing for a buyout before ever actually building this. I don't think it ever gets built by current ownership.

The only guarantee at this point are layoffs at most of the E&P's around town....no matter the size. My guess is before we exit the 3rd quarter in 15 days.

is this place open to the public yet? my wife and I were going to stop by tomorrow evening if possible. i have called multiple times but no one is answering.

this will be a regular spot for me to have a drink...bonus that there are vegetarian options for my wife to be interested in the family eating here. double bonus that I can stumble back to the casa...

anybody know if they plan to paint the brick? that white paint splotch on the west drives me nuts when I drive by. surely they want to get rid of that awful cream color as well.

I have repeatedly tried to buy a certain building from CHK multiple times with no luck. Other than the parking lot, it sits vacant.

Is this the end for this local company? I honestly don't know if they have any other assets than the two they are selling. Curious if anyone has any insight on this.
