Excellent company. Only lick boots are in opposition.
  2. Re: Supreme Court rules warrant needed to search cell phones.

Getting the warrant is no big deal. The LEO's will get the warrant and the shysters of the local defense bar are not educated enough to beat it the vast majority of the time.

Re: Pedestrian Homicides and Casualties [OKC]

Re: OKC seeks railroad quiet zone downtown...

The article indicates some crossings "could" be closed but did not say they will be closed. Just as long as the folks who negligently get hit by the train, which by the way is all of them, cannot...

Re: Pedestrian Homicides and Casualties [OKC]

Re: Pedestrian Homicides and Casualties [OKC]

Pedestrians are at fault in many cases where they get hit Bicycles are even worse traffic scofflaws. I don't want anybody hit but if you are crossing mid-block aka jaywalking I will NOT feel sorry,...
  8. Re: Supreme Court rules warrant nneded to search cell phones.

There are a lot more than most folks know. Most of them tend not to be criminal law type cases. But in business cases 9-0 and 8-1 along with 7-2 cases are much more common. Check out the SCOTUS...

Re: Pedestrian Homicides and Casualties [OKC]

Generally in the past if the pedestrian is not in the cross walk and the driver is not committing a traffic infraction the fault lies with the jaywalking pedestrian. When not in a cross walk and you...
  10. Re: Supreme Court rules warrant nneded to search cell phones.

Re: Pedestrian Homicides and Casualties [OKC]

No to minimize the loss but I read he was not in a marked crosswalk so the vehicle was really only guilty of fleeing the scene unless some other illegal traffic action is uncovered during the...
  12. Re: identifying various electronic devices on streets/intersections.

Not currently. Maybe in a few years but the build out was too costly to abandon right now, until something much better technologically comes along it remains.
  13. Re: Are there hook and ladder (i.e., tiller) trucks in the metro?

No need for tillered equipment in OKC.
  14. Re: identifying various electronic devices on streets/intersections.

Along NW Highway and a few other areas they have what looks to be a small vertical rod with a black sunshade pointing back towards traffic. That is a sensor for changing the lights to green for an...
