I wish they sold by the slice.

    Re: Anton's Craft Kitchen

I had the catfish when I was last there. It's breaded very well, and tasted great. I don't think it pairs well with mashed potatoes though. I'd like to see it paired with fried shrimp, or don't...

    Re: Boom! Chicken

I couldn't get into the cinnamon toast. Everything else was good for the price. I'd probably still go to canes/slims, but good for the area.

    Re: Big Biang Theory

Glad to hear they added to the menu. When I last went they said they had their menu and it was different from the food truck. What I had was good, but wasn't going to go back cause I didn't get...

Re: Best BBQ in Okc metro.

Assuming nothing changed from their Norman location, I thought it was good for the city. Wouldn't find anything better until edgecraft in OKC or like Hutchins in Frisco.

    Re: Royal Sandwich Shoppe

I had the philly on Monday and agree definitely not a philly. Would be disappointed, but as far as a roast beef sandwich goes it wasn't bad. It's also the last day they were serving it.

I stopped by tonight. Ordered the lobster roll, and I'm now a believer in it. Last one was cousins maine lobster food truck. It was mayo, lobster, and an over buttered roll. I know a lot of...

Re: Non La Cafe (SW104th/S. May)

Leon does pretty good work. If you liked Magasin, you should like this place. If you haven't been to Magasin, I thought they had some of the better pho in the city. It's my favorite anyway.

I drive by every Monday on my way to boomtown. Definitely not. I'm hoping to drive by during a soft opening and poke my head in.

I think Nashbird adds too much batter to their chicken.

    Regional food rep

I haven't looked around too much, but if a similar thread exists I don't mind being redirected to that one.

I was wondering if anybody here has run into any establishments that serve regional food...

    Re: Anton's Craft Kitchen

It's odd cause it was my second pick after the grape leaves I saw on pete's menu upload. If he doesn't suggest another main I'd go sausage and dip.

    Re: Anton's Craft Kitchen

I finally stopped by tonight, and asked about that. He did say there is a boost, but that he got a lot of business beforehand. I'm glad it's seemingly working out for him so far. I'll premise this...

Re: JK by Chef King (formerly Blue’s BBQ)

You're talking to a bunch of people who opted to not eat at a place cause of the name.
  22. Re: Formosa Street Food and Bar (formerly Unwind Cafe)

I think this forum is pretty good about opinions when it comes to food. Unsure what boosterism is, but can generally guess and if I"m right don't see it here.

    Re: Sideline Bar & Grill

Which sports bars are you hitting up? Other than the sides, which are advertised as shareable, the tacos and the banh mi it appears to be standard fair if not on the low end to me.
