    Re: Aubrey McClendon

Larry Nichols, Dave hager, and Aubrey have all had private security for a long time. They don't usually go outside there building without it. They are pretty good so you don't notice them.

    Re: Outlet Shoppes

Sure is a shame this development wasn't more thought out. Would have been nice to have a more cohesive design with the surrounding restaurants rather than having the parking lot inbetween.

Tommy, the nice man who cleans up 23rd, was no longer in his home at the entryway. They were doing a little bit of work a couple weeks ago. I presume this was near the time of the sale.

Yeah but it really doesn't extend to midtown, deep deuce, st Anthony, Sosa, etc where most people live downtown, right?

They had the garage door boarded up on the patio I believe. Probably needed a repair of some sort.

Why don't we have buses that only circulate downtown? I live and work downtown and to get anywhere I have to catch a bus coming from the suburbs, catch another bus going to suburbs at the transit hub...

    Re: Dwellings at SoSA

Some people are rejecting stupid money for lots down there. We bought down in Sosa and its funny to sit back and watch the developers argue because of conflicting styles and site lines. I think a lot...

    Re: Downtown grocery

Right, I moved from mesta to downtown for this reason. My point was that midtown could support a full grocer now due to all the surrounding neighborhoods.

I think you are leaving out HH, mesta park, paseo, classen ten pen, etc who would all drive to midtown for quality grocery.

Can the city just trade the surrounding land with Blair Humphrey and build "Wheeler Park" around central park? But to your point, yes I agree to an extent. The city hasn't been too keen on doing...

    Re: Central Park

Maybe think of it as discouraging sprawl. There is still tons of vacant lots downtown, so by eliminating some with a park and getting rid of some of the blight, you create a better space for urban...

Norman did take awhile and I imagine it was expensive. They basically had to build temporary tracks and a road. Maybe this was a decision between one year without building temporary roads, tracks,...

Yeah, Norman did a pretty good job with the Robinson / HWY 77 mess with the railroad tracks a couple years ago. Could they not do something similar?

From what I have heard, The Edge is charging $150/spot (believe this is per month) for parking and whether you have a car or not you are required to pay for at least one spot. I like this idea with...
