    Re: Building Codes/Plumbing Codes?

Typically service work not requiring a permit is repairing and/or replacing minor parts of systems. A thermostat on a hot water tank is a minor part. An entire hot water tank (or electrical panel,...

Re: Dicks Sporting Goods - Northside OKC?

I made a quick tour through the west side store today. There is some nice clothing selection but really limited in the section I use most at Academy and Backwoods, camping. It seemed to be...

    Re: Fireplace inspection/repair

I just used Top Hat 812-1582 to clean and inspect two fireplaces. They were recommended to me by Bachles Fireplace on north May, who sells and installs gas logs and other fireplace accessories. He...

    Re: Quite Suspecious?

You may have priced it too cheap for several reasons, including demand that drives up prices on some models for export to the mexican market. I know that is true for some early Nissan trucks because...

The nearest Sch-whatever on my route is across the street from a Which-Wich chicken cordon bleu, my favorite wich. Needless to say, I never make it across the street.

    Re: Hobby Lobby business practices

Obvious question, if the workers standards are up to the company standard, why are they spending all that time and energy having stuff made in China instead of having it all made in the US? They...

    Re: Flooring Price & Expectations

I just had new carpet in 70% of my house and engineered wood in 20% of my house with ceramic tile and vinyl in the remaining. The carpet and tile were sold and installed by the same people. The final...

    Re: Hobby Lobby business practices

Some employers put themselves in the business of providing insurance to their employees. When it ceases to be beneficial to them to do that they can opt out and just pay their taxes.

    A couple of...

Thanks for helping illustrate the failings of the old grossly inefficient healthcare policy by employer's carrot and whim. No thanks.

Again, you seem to argue the end result of the doctor supervised treatment is more expensive than not getting treatment. See my previous post.

But you're against the AHA and other insurance laws...
