Would be cool if they would build an olympic village at the boathouse discrict where the surface lots are and after the olympics it could be converted into residential apartments.

Maybe one day they can redevelop penn square like this! 18529
Did you not look at the site plan? or the images above? 18403
Red is average width, Blue is tiny. They should have had a setback. expand the sidewalks and add trees so it feels safer to walk....
Confused why the sidewalks are so small. Think they should have shrunk the building footprint and built up alittle more. Just dont get why they allowed the sidewalks to become almost nonexistent.
Way less brick from the previous design.
One less apartment building+garage, less brick, more eif siding. Dammit lol Any chance this development can help get gaylord fixed? That street is a mess
Could the blue area become an apartment with commercial space on the ground level while the red would be a plaza with an art sculpture, maybe some sort of water feature? Keep the old building, build...

pretty sure it would be cheaper and easier to just put up a fence that can be covered in advertisements until they determine an actual plan....
Not to toot my own horn, I said this back when I was 20 years old back in 2018. I even told the dean of my architecture school, I wonder if Hans took my idea to the city haha! There is definitely a...
I am also hoping that this will spur the redevelopment of the U-Haul building! Bring it back to its former glory. Would love to see something like this happen to it, maybe mixed use or residential....

I do hope they stick to designs like this, true to the district and its history. Industrial, "modern" warehouse, brick buildings
is this a mass timber development?
Yeah, this could be huge for okc. I presonally like grocery shopping and have time to do it, but there's definitely a lot of people that will use this. As long as it's reasonably priced and not crazy...
Werent the planes painted in there? I'm sure there's toxic paint leftover. Probably would cost a lot to get rid of it.
Tear down the "available" middle space make it into a park/plaza. Add a parking garage that connects the grower structure to the grocery store (this is where the main parking would be grocery store)....
I stopped going to the establishments owned by James and his friend Shyon Keoppel when I found out about several different racist allegations. One being that they didn't like the club photographers...
It's sometimes sad when I see a new project proposed in okc because I look and think "no one actually would allow this to get built". Good architecture doesn't mean it has to cost a ton of money....

Wish this is what was being built instead. FSB is a lousy architecture company that shouldn't have been chosen for something like an innovation district, we have better architecture...
There's nothing of value on those lots (historical or architectural). The only thing worth saving are some of the mature trees... Lol
It's Miami, what do u expect. Although I will say a lot of the dream hotels are so over the top in the architectural design that they almost look like something from a company that dreamed too big...
This development is gonna have to cost billions of dollars to ensure its done right. It's not cheap and I don't think the current people have the resources to do it right and well. By now they would...
I wish they would tear down bleu garten and the buildings north of it, combine the city blocks, and add apartments/office around the entire edge (with retail and restaurants on the lower levels)...
You must be a cheap date haha
