Re: 1204 N. Hudson (formerly Arrive Hotel)

It seems like there's a disconnect here. Staying at a budget hotel doesn't necessarily correlate with someone's intellectual capacity. I understand where you're coming from; intelligence and...

Re: 1204 N. Hudson (formerly Arrive Hotel)

This is where some of us differ. Many people don't come here to discuss real estate prospects; we're here to explore how to make this city more elegant and livable. I could go to Manhattan and assert...

Re: 1204 N. Hudson (formerly Arrive Hotel)

Sure, we're here to voice our opinions on what we think could be better ideas for various areas of the city. They're all personal opinions, and that's what I prefer to read most of the time. Some...

Re: 1204 N. Hudson (formerly Arrive Hotel)

Take a quick look at Loopnet and see how many office spaces are still waiting to be filled. So, we don't need more empty offices for sure. Now, boutique hotel, how many cool boutique hotels do we...

Re: 1204 N. Hudson (formerly Arrive Hotel)

I wish they stuck with their hotel plan, the current building looks bland, and OKC doesn't need more office spaces, a boutique hotel is much better for Midtown.

Re: Paycom Center (formerly Chesapeake Arena)

They should consider placing the new arena and soccer stadium close together within the same complex, incorporating hotels, apartments, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments around them. This...

    Re: Robert Square

It's such a shame to see such prime real estate occupied by these unsightly houses. I'd much prefer to see a mixed-use development or apartment complex in that spot.

Re: Boardwalk at Bricktown / Dream Hotel

I think it will eventually be built. If that doesn't happen, it doesn't really matter to me. They're not knocking down anything for this; it's always been empty land. Chill, guys!

Hum, how should I put this into words?

This doesn't look cool when it doesn't look new, this is an example of lazy, filling-the-blank school of architecture, or simplicity for the maximum profit...

I hope we won't see another Wheeler District there, those designs won't age well with time.
