    Re: New Downtown Arena

Once the location is confirmed, I would think that someone will report on it and let the people know the location.

Re: Boardwalk at Bricktown / Dream Hotel

I don’t think I’ve read on whether the proposed super tall is office or residential. Either way, it’s extremely difficult to imagine this is actually happening. Someone else had mentioned it, but...

Re: New State Burgers & Spirits

Man, I guess we need to give this place another shot. The one time we went over a year ago, we thought it was just OK. Felt like they used frozen patties.

Damn dude, did you play D1 or something?? Lol

It’s the internet, everyone has an opinion and feels the need to hear themselves speak. Just like you and me.

Re: Seoul Pocha (formerly Oki Poke)

Bulgogi is definitely safe. And delicious! I love Korean food, and if you like seafood, I really like the spicy seafood soup and seafood pancake. Korean fried chicken is always a safe play as well...

True, but I don’t think that’s what bucktalk was getting at. But then again, I don't know him. So who knows.

    Re: Dallas. Wow!!

I’m thinking that was just based on his observation for that trip. Not sure what mall he went to or when he went, but wouldn’t really surprise me if the non-white patrons were well over 50%. The...

    Re: Walgreens Pharmacy

Yeah, this became my family's new pharmacy several months ago. Owner is super helpful. The level of care given to my elderly parents is what did it for me.

    Re: Restaurant closings

Food was good but pretty expensive imo. Plus BB.Q Chicken opened up down the street and they’re legit Korean Fried Chicken. Restaurant competition in the metro is tough. Don’t feel like there’s...

    Re: University of Oklahoma Sports

There are definitely not 15 program in cfb that are considered to be blue bloods. I'd say 5-6, maybe.

    Re: University of Oklahoma Sports

The incessant need to be correct is wild. I can’t recall what all was said but I remember hearing there’s not a chance a one-loss Big XII school gets in over an undefeated conference champ. Or...

    Re: University of Oklahoma Sports

I hope none. I think this is one of the biggest problems we have with sports today. It should not be happening at the college level whatsoever, but I guess this is how it’s going to be. Letting kids...

Yeah, I’m not thrilled with losing Lebby. As bad as play calling was in a couple games, he’s still an extremely talented OC.

    Re: In-N-Out Burger

Definitely over hyped. Good for fast food, though.
  21. Re: Restaurants that changed the OKC landscape…

Did things drop below par for them? I used to consider it one of my favorite restaurants back then. But we likely didn’t frequent it enough towards the end to know if quality had fallen.
  22. Re: Restaurants that changed the OKC landscape…

It was short-lived, unfortunately. But I feel Guernsey Park needs to be on this list.

    Re: OAK (formerly Penn Central)

I agree. But according to some on here, it’s a “fast food” place that’s “mediocre.”
