Fail may azz! You got owned and now you're copping out. No ethics at all. You have a habit that if you can't win you change the rules, deny reality then you pretend you won. I surely hope you don't think anyone's being fooled by your tactics. What a poor excuse for a rebuttal. "Fail" <LOL>
What's selfish about it? I don't see it.

Guns. Save. Lives.
LOGANVILLE, Ga. — A woman hiding in her attic with children shot an intruder multiple times before fleeing to safety Friday.
The incident happened at a home on Henderson Ridge Lane in Loganville around 1 p.m. The woman was working in an upstairs office when she spotted a strange man outside a window, according to Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman. He said she took her 9-year-old twins to a crawlspace before the man broke in using a crowbar.
But the man eventually found the family.
“The perpetrator opens that door. Of course, at that time he’s staring at her, her two children and a .38 revolver,” Chapman told Channel 2’s Kerry Kavanaugh.
The woman then shot him five times, but he survived, Chapman said. He said the woman ran out of bullets but threatened to shoot the intruder if he moved.
It was pointing out that after 6 shots (she missed on the first one) the assailant was still a threat to her and her children. The point being, the weapons that have large capacity magazines also have lower knockdown power. 9mm, AR-15, etc won't drop a perp like a .357 or .45. You can't buy a 10 shot .45 or .357. If you have it and don't need to use all of it, that's a hell of a lot better than you don't have it and do need it which was the case with this Lady (almost)
It is just me or does anyone else think these threads about the shootings in Newtown should be closed? Nothing really beneficial is being contributed to what has happened and I think these conversations are pointless and have gone on for too long. Just my 2 cents.![]()
Easy, just google it. There are a lot of left leaning websites that gloss over it but try "jammed magazine" and Giffords shooting. That might do it. Check newspapers and reputable links. I think even Wiki reported it. No question that the gun was reloaded but jammed. They kept reporting that he was jumped by bystanders but if you do the research, you'll see it isn't disputed following the investigation that the gun had been reloaded but was out of commission at that time. You just have to be careful and not rely on reports that came out within a week or so because it was full on things that they changed once the investigations were done.

Safe to say this argument does not fall strictly along party lines...
I stand corrected. Thanks.
