Ah, the old questions as whether News networks have an agenda?

Did I tell you my daughter worked for the Fox Network News channel in New York? Right before she graduated from NYU and two years after graduation she was a production assistant working on several shows including Hannity & Combs, O'Reilly and others.

She can attest to the fact each network has an agenda based on what they perceived to be their audience.

Fox News slanted their info to the right, even on man on the street interviews, which my daughter very often was the one holding the mic and getting the questions answered. From her experience, if a liberal gave an articulate convincing answer, it was scraped. If the lib came off looking shrill and uninformed, it ran.

As far as the black guy with the automatic I saw him during a Daily Show feature. I wonder from what network they pulled the clip. If Obama gets assassinated, it could be very likely by a black guy. Hatred knows no color bounds.

Well, there is no doubt that Fox gives the right at least as much exposure as the other networks give the left. At least Fox equalizes their interviews as much as they can. Their hosted shows like O'Reilly tend to lean right but O'Reilly isn't the ultra right wing conservative the left would have you believe. He leans right but he will call out the right as well. Obviously, Hannity is right wing. So the right has Fox, the left has ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and PBS and their cable affiliates. Then virtually all the newspapers tilt left (ours being a definite exception). The talk radio is nearly exclusively right. I would say overall, though, the media tilt is still way left wing.

As far as how Fox runs interviews, I imagine its the same thing but from the left wing point of view on all the other networks.

I saw the guy on Foxnews full on. Very nice looking guy. Very nicely dressed. Just holding that rifle. When I saw the MSNBC clip of only his torso and then the slant on the story that the gun toters were a bunch of right wing white guys I about kicked in the computer.
