Default The "liberal" Wall Street Journal: Bush approval rating drops to 34%

From Wall Street Journal online:

Quote:
President Bush's positive job rating continues to fall, touching another new low for his presidency, the latest Harris Interactive poll finds.

Bush's current job approval rating stands at 34%, compared with a positive rating of 88% soon after 9/11, 50% at this time last year, and 40% in August.

And he's not alone. Cabinet members, Congressional leaders and both parties in Congress have also seen their ratings slip, with Democrats seeing one of the biggest dips in approval, the telephone poll of 1,011 U.S. adults shows.

The short of it is: they all suck.

I think people are just fed up with the government as a whole right now. Strange that everything went to pot when Bush took office. It's been a downward spiral ever since.

Actually, the country went to pot when sex maniac Clinton was in office. Bush brought the country back to where it should be, and put integrity back in to the office of the presidency. Sure, he may not have a high approval rating right now, but at this point, any president that gets involved in a war will get low ratings. The fact is, nobody likes war, however, our president had the backbone to take on the terorists......I sure didn't see any democrats stepping forward to fight terrorism....just running the other way. Oh yeah, there was one democrat that stepped up to the plate, but now he has "changed" his mind.

What's interesting is that democrat that was trying to push for a vote to pull our soldiers out of Iraq, even though he voted for them to go. Now, he wants to change his mind. Hey, bubba, you can't change your mind in the middle of the war, just because you now think it is wrong.

Democrats stepped up to plate during the Afghan war.

It's the Iraq war we oppose. Why? There was no justification to go in there. Seriously, I still don't know why we invaded Iraq. Oil I suppose.

This isn't any time to be bashing morals. We're starting to see the lack of integrity of many of the leaders in the Bush administration. Does the name Tom Delay ring a bell?

But, yeah, I have to agree with you...Bush did bring the country back to where it was before Clinton took office. We have a growing national debt, shortage of jobs, the entire world hates us, etc. Bush kept his promise...we're right back where we started in the early 90's.
