On the other hand, McCain sides with Bush over 90% of the time (Congressional Record), and Bush's response to the crisis was to stay in Beijing hanging out with the female beach volleyball players and watching basketball for several days. But it's okay, because GWB "looked into his (Putin's) eyes and saw his soul" or some such nonsense a few years ago, so there was nothing to worry about Re: Russia. Let's not vote in Bush the Third in November! |

That was 2 years ago when McCain went to Georgia. If B.O. had gone to Georgia in 2006 nobody would have cared.

So I hope you are not implying it's inappropriate for major party Presidential nominees to visit foreign countries to talk with their leaders, but it's okay for the other 98 Senators.

You know Sgt. Pepper, the sad thing is that of the Bush bunch I think Jeb is probably the most politically skilled; however, at this point I basically have decided I will never vote for another Bush again. Time for some fresh meat.

Nothing was implied. If B.O. had gone to Georgia in 2006 nobody would have cared.
