As I understand the UN rules, he's entitled to come to the UN's home base, which is indeed New York, and we did sign those rules.

All the more reason to evict the UN to some place more appropriate to its moral authority, say Zimbabwe.

He spoke at Columbia University today. Is this a way to understand another's point of view or a way to spread his brand of propaganda. I personally come down on the former. I think it would be more dangerous to suppress freedom of speech on our soil especially to someone who does not necessarily extend the same courtesy to his own people. I think he came across as more crazy than anything.

Hmm, what is the connection between him an Al'Queda?
Now, if it was the president of Saudi Arabia, I could understand.

I don't know if there's a connection or not. I don't particularly care either.

I was making a blanket joke in bad taste about the overboard "America! F*CK YEAH!!!" attitude that some people have, at the expense of a saber-rattling wingnut from Iran.

Yeah he is pretty crazy but compaired to the interviews ive seen him in atleast he has been respectful (on the surface) of the people he has came in contact with while our reporters/universities/etc havent been treating him with any. He even said on abc(think it was that station) how basically if our president came to his country and a reporter treated him how he was being treated we would all be up in arms at home - with all the interviews aring all over the middle east i dont think we did anything but piss off more middle easterns with how pompus and arrogant we are...

Guy is crazy and with the debt this country already has and a war we cant pull out of, i dont think it would be wise to go off and start another war that we cant afford.
