We use Frontline from the vet even though we don't use it as much as we are supposed to...Never saw a tick on our dogs until each had one this summer
Made my wife pull them out...Those things are freakin nasty

We use Frontline as well, but usually only during the warm seasons. Our two dogs are mostly inside dogs so their exposure is limited.
