Choke Collars

I've seen choke collars on several dogs, especially more agressive dogs like Pitts and German Shepherds. My personal opinion is that choke collars are cruel, but I was wondering what everyone else thought.

Yes. Choke collars are cruel. They are made of chain, and that puts a lot of pressure on the dogs neck which can choke the dog, and possibly kill it. I believe in the humane method of teaching. Praise when the dog does something right, and a swift, firm no when the dog does something wrong.
