okcgodess, we do. Our boys go to scout camp every year. They've also attended summer programs at the Omniplex.
Last year, our oldest son attended Oklahoma Boys State. That's not a camp but it's a wonderful experience for boys between their junior and senior year of high school. Are you trying to plan summer activities for your children? |

Yes I was curious about the various Day Camps my 6 year old son could participate in. I would like him to be able to do some activites throughout the summer instead of just sitting in a day-care center all day. He is very artistic and it seems like I remember seeing summer art programs advertised before. What is offered at the Omniplex? Do you know the age groups?

I checked out the Museum of Arts and they have some fun classes scheduled.. not really a camp but if he likes art, it might work.

The spring break classes classes at the omniplex are fair children from second through sixth grade. The summer sessions are for kids entering kindergarten through teens.
The majority of classes focus on science but they make it fun for the kids. http://www.omniplex.org/ OCCC has a College for kids and teens program for ages 3 through 14 years. We've mever been involved in that one so I don't know how could it is. http://www.okccc.edu The zoo has a youth program for age four and up. Again we've never been involved in this one. http://www.okczoo.org/ The art clsses offered by the OKC museum of Art are good. My oldest son has taken several classes there and enjoyed every one of them. |
