I may be possibly moving to the Edmond area soon. Does anyone know of any very good day-care centers there that have reasonable rates? I will be Near 1-35 & 2nd Street if I do move. I called a couple of churches and their rates for a 7month old was $150 per week in that area. I pay $100 week right now so that is quite a jump in costs. If anyone has any information on this it would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, I thought that was pretty expensive as well. I actually placed him in Moore down the street from where my 5 year old attends kindergarten. The cost in the Moore area averaged $130 per week. He is 5 weeks away from 1 year old and then the cost will go down to $110 a week. Yeah you would think churches might be able to charge less to help families out a little... but I guess it is a business to them as well as day care centers.
