Social Club Alcohol Laws?

If a club would like to serve alcohol during events, meetings, lunchs, or to members..are the OK laws differant for clubs? I have seen clubs sell drink tickets ? We don't want a open bar to the public..but then what do you do about member's guest? How do other clubs handle this?
