Default Construction Management Laws....

Are the Oklahoma laws related to the administration of a Construction Management contract for a publically funded project posted anywhere online?

Publically funded could be local, state or federalfunding. Some publically funded projects are overseen by a state or local entity using federal funds. You'd probaby need to see the federal regulations and/or individual agency or municipal policies. I'd rather slit my throat than have to track THAT down.

Also -- a lot of the law is non-statutory (judge-made), so you'll have to go there as well. Essentially, you're going to have to sort of have an idea of exactly what you're after, then you can go to a law library, there's one at OCU, the State Capitol, OU, and a decent one at the Oklahoma County Courthouse. Even then, there are likely other statutes and law you're not aware of (and wouldn't be unless you were an expert in the area) which will affect things.

Really though, lawyers spend a long time learning how to do good research. For anyone to be able to tell you how to do effective research on an internet message board would be tough.

That's why hiring a good attorney can be worth the money spent.

I wish I could go back and change my effect to an affect.

Forum software needs to allow edits forever.

Yeah, but why not just make the edit feature available?

Sometimes it's better to update an old post than to make a new one.

PM'ing admins to change the spelling of a word is a bit unnecessary in my book.

I concur... and it was SUPPOSED to be one of the benefits of the platinum membership, but that never materialized.

Strange. It should be just as simple as the admin checking a box. This is the only board I frequent where I can't edit my own posts.
