Default 4-way stop clearly not an OKC strong suit

Why, pray tell, can no one here figure out a 4-way stop?
There are many of them up by my house. It never fails to boggle the mind as I watch people go through them 1 at a time.
Not one each way, as it is supposed to be, but one at a time.
4 people reach a stop at the same time...

-1
2-3
-4

1 will go, then 2, then 3 then 4. Maddening! 1 and 4 go, then 3 and 2 go. If you are turning left, you turn behind the person coming at you. It's easy people! even a caveman could do it!

I watch traffic back up behind these stops, and it shouldn't. Talk about self inflicted wounds!

WTF is a "stop sign"?

Are those those blurry red things that I always feel like I should be paying attention to?

Interesting.

Thank you I thought I was the only one that noticed...

What about merging into the 3rd turn lane? I am not going to hit you I am simply going to fall in behind you once you pass me. Please don't slam on your brakes just go on past me.

And since we are at it merging onto the interstate can we discuss this?

Please I beg of you just GO!! do not get to the end of the on-ramp of the interstate and slam on your brakes.

If none of the above applies to you I apologize for taking your time. However if it does apply please take it to heart and traffic will move much smoother.
