Whether or not you have an S.O. right now, think of the ones in the past too; have any of your S.O.s shown up in your life whne you were looking for someone or did most of them just happen to cross paths with you when you weren't looking?

It's been a little of both for me. Some I met through online dating (which, to me, only takes place when you're looking... otherwise, you would have never been on the dating site). Others kind of popped up out of nowhere, but in retrospect I was kind of looking then too because I made sure to look my best and go to the places where I knew more singles frequent.

I've shared my story in another thread...obviously, I wasn't looking :P We were just having fun and it stuck.

The guys I dated in high school were also friends that evolved into something more. And when we broke up, we were still friends.
