They say your friends are a reflection of who you are. I'm not sure I agree, however; I have made it a general "unspoken" rule that if I'm not liked by friends chances are I probably wouldnt be around long anyway. hehe

talk............if you love her/him it does not matter wether you get along or they get along with people outside of your relationship (aka life long friends). They and you should respect that the other person likes these people and just bite thy tongue when they are present, just to save face. In marraige some do not LOVE thier in laws but they talk it over, make a deal and go on.
