Same reason I hang out with ugly dudes. That way I get all the play and he feels like crap...Making me feel more valid.

Well, about wingmen...ya don't actaully plan that out. You just look out for one another. Maybe that's what the ladies are doing too.

To see just how shallow the guy is, like simply labeling woman as "heavy chick" or "skinny chick."

What else does a guy have to go on. Really the amount of rejects are equal between the skinnied and heavies

I do accepts/rejects based on the size of their hair, the quality of their shoes and purse, and whether or not they wear white after Labor Day.

Each of has to admit that looks are important. There is something that attracts us to someone else. Maybe it is eyes, legs or a certain body size. Not being attracted to some one who is larger is not being shallow in my opinion just a personal preference.

You are right. That does not make you shallow. Calling them names, conversation topics such as this thread, and demeaning behavior towards them does though. Only dating or not dating someone based completely on looks is incredibly shallow. Preference means you prefer to not have....doesn't mean you wouldn't.
