Ever be just driving along listening to the radio and hear a song that pretty much blurs your vision and you are nearly a danger on the road ( guys, you don't have to admit to this) or have a lump in your throat so big, you can hardly swallow?

I heard this song about a little girl who is abused - Alyssa Lies .. damn... I could hardly see the road - I was a blubbering mess! Just thinking about this song gets me teary eyed.

The other one that gets me every time is by Kenny Chesney.. Who'd you Be Today.. about kids who die too young.. Iraq is what I always think of...

But this one just about kills me....

My little girl met a new friend,
just the other day,
on the playground at school
between the tires and the swings

But she came home with tear-filled eyes,

Well I just brushed it off at first,
cause I didn't know how much my little girl had been hurt

My little girl laid her head down that night to go to sleep.

I had the worst night of sleep in years
as I tried to think of a way to calm her fears
I knew exactly what I had to do
but when we got to school on Monday I heard the news

The lump in my throat grew bigger
with every question that she asked.

and I told her that Alyssa wouldn't be at school today
