I missed the part where we were supposed to bow down to those who have contact with the mayor. He's just a person, too. He's not God or anything, and he doesn't have all the answers. Just because he may have liked your ideas, doesn't mean you have all the answers, either.

So the mayor told you he liked your ideas...He is a politician is he supposed to laugh at your suggestions?

I'm sure if OKC starts to see the massive population growth you are predicting these types of things will get moved up on the list so no need to panic right now...Just don't see it considering we are in the heartland...This area isn't real sexy compared to FL, CA and other places people look to retire

i, for one, totally agree with anderson. it's the nay-sayers that are keeping this state from achieving its most important goal: to beat texas. our airport is a joke. other cities laugh at the number of gates we have. grown men giggle on their morning commutes when they think about how small our airport is. middle-aged men buy hummer h2 suv's when they think about how small our airport is. size matters, folks. in order to compete, we need no less than 134 gates. and three air traffic control towers. once the airlines see this they'll be begging to make us into a hub. then who's gonna be laughing?

do we need commuter rail or light rail? only a nay-sayer would argue that we don't need both by next year. also, many top executives will be commuting to their newly built okc global headquarters in as soon as six months... therefore construction must begin immediately on the bullet train that directly links us to both new york and stereotypical los angeles (normal los angeles need not apply). these global headquarters require 16 100+ story sky scrapers, to be built by december... or we may get caught with our pants down. also, we need to bolster heavy industry... 7 factories, logistics centers and rail distribution infrastructure by next tuesday so that we can produce enough quantity of high-quality belts and suspenders to help ensure that we don't get caught with our pants down. don't you liberals understand that the bible says we have to pay for these services?

we also need a 120,000 seat capacity football stadium for when the nfl comes knocking on our door at 2pm today. also, when another tournament gets added to the usta, we need the 20,000 seat tennis arena and surrounding complex. and don't get me started on the fact that we don't have a bull-fighting arena... do you know how many arenas mexico city has? well... i don't know, but it's gotta be alot. talk about getting caught with your pants down. you people just don't understand that it is your duty to pay taxes and that you make baby jesus cry every time you suggest that our sales tax rate should be a penny less than 82 cents on the dollar. you nay-sayers just have to understand that we have to be prepared unless you want to get caught with your... well, you know. by the way, mick cornett liked my plans so much that he put them up on his fridge last night. he especially liked the color i picked for the bullet train. the end.

You can believe what you want. I have the email in my archives to prove what he said to me...And no. I will not share it. it is private. There are a lot of "Mr. Anderson's" in the world. Even if you asked ME if I knew who "Mr. Anderson" was, I would tell you no. Because there are thousands of them.

I suggest you just accept the fact that sometimes well knwon people communicate with lesser known people and leave it at that.

I asked him if he knew the mranderson from OKCTalk. He said he knew who Patrick and Todd were, but had never met a Mr. Anderson in person before. He said he knew you were a poster, but said outside of that, he didn't know who you were, or anything about you.

Getting an email from someone doesn't mean you know them.

Does M stand for Mr. Anderson?

I love you re-creation of mranderson's comments. This has absolutely made my day. Given me enough laughs to carry me through a long day.

mmm, your first 2 sentences freaked me out, but ah, the beauty of your post. I can't stop laughing.

And Conservative, you get thumbs up for your posts in this thread. You've made some excellent points.

Thanks for the smiles today, fellows!

This entire thread is a TOS violation.

Even so, I love it.

Darn you naysayers.
