Okay so I was bored, and all my work issue's aren't pressing right now...so I did this pointless survey list I had seen elsewhere...

1. My middle name is Faith.
2. I am the 4th daughter of 6 girls in my family.
3. I don’t have any brothers.
4. I drive a black Hyundai Elantra.
5. I don’t drink alcohol but have in the past.
6. I don’t smoke.
7. I am right handed.
8. I always sit with my legs crossed.
9. I have never broken a bone.
10. I love to dance.

11. My 2 boys make me happier than anything in the world.
12. I have 2 nefews and 4 nieces.
13. I wake up at 7am on workdays.
14. I have never fired a gun… only a paintball gun.
15. My favorite food to snack on is chips & salsa.
16. I am the biggest baby when it comes to pain.
17. I flew to Europe by myself at 15 years old.
18. I hate snakes.
19 I can’t sleep with socks on.
20. I have lived in Oklahoma, Arizona, and Mississippi.
21. I crack my knuckles, my fingers, my toes, my knees, my back and my neck.
22. I don’t have any pets. But one day we are going to buy a great dane for my oldest son.
23. I always am rushing everywhere I go.
24. I am not a morning person. Every morning I look at the clock to see if I have a few more minutes to sleep.
25. My boys were born at 1:01pm and 2:02pm.
26. When I was 16, a middle age man who had severe Road Rage followed me all the way home so he could scream at me.
27. When I was in grade school and middle school I wanted to be the first woman president.
28. Both of my parents have been in the hospital majority of this month.
29. I’ve lost someone very close and special to me this month.
30. My husband is a drywall contractor mainly in Edmond.
31. I believe in Angels!
32. I just turned 25 last month and it makes me feel old.
33. I have a sister that swears up and down that she will win the lottery one day.
34. A woodpecker broke a hole in my son’s room last week and flew into our house.
35. I hate being cold…
36. I wish welfare assistance would go away and only be there for emergency situations. Not for people to live on for years or their entire lives.
37. I love singing but not in front of people!
38. I love cooking with my husband.
39. I use an electric toothbrush.
40. My husband and I are going to grow a large garden this year.
41. I didn’t graduate highschool but got my GED and moved to Arizona when I turned 18.
42. I miss being competitive in sports.
43. I can play “Wipe Out” on the guitar while holding it behind my back.
44. I can say the alphabet backwards… I was a dork when I was younger and learned to do strange things!
45. I never wore makeup until I was 18.
46. I never dated in school...I was too concentrated on obtaining straigt A's and being a state champion in Track & Field.
47. My first boyfriend was my husband!
48. I had a blast this summer in Cozumel with my sister and friends.
49. I have worked for an AF IT Contractor for 6 years..mainly as a purchaser.
50. My goal this year is to get myself and my family closer to God.

Ok, okcgoddess, you asked for it. Since I had no "template" to work with, I just brainstormed some of the unusual and silly factoids about me.

Here we go:

50 Random things about me

• My need to make lists borders on obsessive
• I have webbed toes
• I snort when I laugh
• My college dorm was demolished last year
• The past year and a half is the longest I have gone without dating someone since I was 15.
• My left ear is pierced 3 times, my right ear pierced once, and I used to have a ring in my belly button
• I am the “mother” to two cats
• I am divorced
• My favorite smell is Cinnamon, though I don’t like the taste of it.
• Planning ahead is something I am neurotic about
• I sing beautifully…in the car. Same goes for dancing.
• My lifelong dream is to have my own Animal Resuce
• Everyone in my immediate family has been divorced at least once. I’m beginning to think it’s an inherited trait.
• My favorite non-alcoholic drink is Diet Pepsi. My favorite alcoholic drink is Grey Goose vodka and tonic (with a squeeze of lime).
• I haven’t been to a movie theatre in Oklahoma since 1992
• I’m directionally and geographically challenged
• Two tattoos reside on my back
• I taught myself to play piano when I was 4
• I love to snow and water ski
• My wedding took place on a beach in Jamaica
• My first car was a bright yellow Geo Storm
• I hate running late
• I speed on highways most times, but never on city streets
• When I was a kid, I wanted to be a veterinarian when I “grew up”. I still do.
• 3 of my grandparents have died of Alzheimer’s…this doesn’t bode well for the rest of my family.
• I excuse myself from exercising by reasoning “that’s how people get injured”
• I’m a member of NetFlix and love it.
• I go to the tanning bed on occasion, but only so I can take a quick nap at lunchtime
• My brother is a doctor and lives in Indiana
• I have once niece
• In jr. high & high school, I played trumpet in concert and stage band
• I bought my first house in October
• During the summer, I learned how to use a chainsaw and removed several dead trees from my mom’s backyard
• I have a deep and undying love for power tools
• I recognize the difference between being blessed and being lucky. I don’t play the lottery because I am not lucky. But I’m very blessed
• I believe that God has a plan for me in my life
• The next pet I adopt will be a dog
• Anytime I receive an injection at the doctor’s office, I have to watch them stick the needle in
• I hate doing the dishes, but adore doing laundry (I even like to iron)
• One of my favorite hobbies is quilting
• I cry at all weddings…I even cried at my own…but I never cry at funerals
• I thoroughly enjoy childish and inappropriate humor such as “Beevis & Butthead”

• I only made two New Year’s resolutions this year. Everything else is just an “attitude adjustment”

16. I moved to OK when I was 12 (No dad please! Not the dust bowl!)
17. I love to tinker with cars

19. I was the first person in my family (from either side) to attend and graduate college.
20. The first car I owned was a '72 Olds Cutlass Supreme (Orange with black vinyl top - damn, I regret selling it)

24. I've smoked pot before (years and years ago)
25. I've had all my wisdom teeth removed
26. Everyone on my parent's side of the family lives "back east" in NC, SC, and WV.
27. I have a desire to learn to fly - one day I'll get around to it
28. Even though I'm left-handed (throwing and writing), I play pool, golf, shoot guns, and use the mouse right-handed
29. I'm still living in the first house I ever bought (11 years ago)

33. I'm still ticklish in my underarms (I was recently reminded of this by my daughter who finds it hysterical)
34. When I get the hickups and I happen to cough it forces another hickup out. I hickup with every, single cough until they go away. I've never met anyone else that has this happen (its also something my wife and kids find hysterical)

36. I played trumpet in Honor band in Jr H.S.
37. I learned to play drums in H.S. from a friend
38. I went through the F.A.A. Air Traffic Control training academy - at 18 I was the youngest recruit to ever be accepted. I didn't graduate and I'm eternally grateful for that.
39. One of my F.A.A. instructors was the last American controller to speak with Korean airlines flight 007 (KAL007) before it was shot down over Soviet Russia (Sept. 1st, 1983). He had some interesting tales to tell. :0
40. I've been to both Disneyworld (Fla) and Disneyland (Cal) and Disneyworld is better by far.
41. For a long while I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up.
42. My favorite color is Royal Blue
43. I wear a size 10-1/2 shoe
44. I taught myself how to touch-type and had at one point tested at 42wpm.
45. I'm a pretty impatient person
46. I've went rappelling with a friend once and I loved it

48. I built my entire fence around my property by myself
49. I like to go camping (REAL camping, in a tent) and hiking/exploring
50. My favorite subject in school was science.

1) Born and raised in California
2) Moved to OK three years ago due a job opportunity - didn't turn out the way we thought
3) Experienced my first tornado within two months of moving

1. I was young once upon a time.
2. I was not a straight-A student in school.
3. I was scared to death of one teacher I had in grade school.
4. I hate evicting a tenant; it makes me sick to my stomach.
5. I hate it too when someone takes advantage of me.
6. I hold grudges—beware! LOL Just kidding there.
7. I love living in a rural setting.
8. I despise City Hall.
9. I have been married to my first wife like forever.

28. At this stage of my life, I am pushing my envelope further and further.
29. Being deathly scared of heights, it was exhilerating when I was able to climb the roof like a ladder and put the screws into the metal.

32. Bragging—I can put together a 30-page document, and make it all make sense.
33. I loved English Class at RSC.
34. I grew up in a very small town.
35. Looking straight west from my front door, the horizon is about a mile away, and there is nothing but trees and grass and dirt between my front door and the horizon.
36. The reason the roof is so high other than my pushing my envelope is cause I wanted to see over that horizon; I did not quite make it.
37. Making a deal and getting a discount on an item is a game with me.
38. I use coupons.
39. It is bedtime, I will try to finish in the morning.
40. Why do people put pictures of their small children on these boards?
41. I love taking a scruffy lot with lots of funky bushes and vines and turning it into a gem of a building lot.
42. This is my list, so I will use I as often as I like.
43. I have so many things I want to do before my time comes to go Home that I do not know how I can do them all.
44. I want to go back to Vegas; I have not been there since they opened the casinos at Tunica, Ms.
45. Even though I am married, I might could legitimately be accused of flirting.
46. If my mind can see it, I can do it or make it.
47. Every morning, I get up early and get on the computer—wayyyyyyyyyyy too much time spent on the internet.
48. Now that the roof is finished over this phase of my project, I no longer have to use my every spare moment of good weather working on the roof.
49. In light of #48, now, I can do other outdoor activities during the good weather, and I will be able to work on the walls when the wx is bad.
50. It seems the highlight of my life resides in the weekly trip to the city on Saturday, and then, the relaxation later on Saturday night, and while hearing (reading) of the singles’ wanting to get together, I guess I become jealous that they can do that while the invite does not extend to the marrieds which I fully understand, yet I think it was Leon said the more the merrier, and knowing I get sleepy so early that I cannot be all the way to the city from out here in Pott county late at night for fear of falling to sleep on the way home that I could not go; funny how just a couple years ago, I was staying up wayyyyyyyyyy late here chatting on the computer and not being a bit sleepy all the way to 3:00 a.m. and beyond, yet now at 10:00 p.m., I get so sleepy that I doze at times; I guess it is the activity. # 50 is long, huh?

Wow! 50....let's see if I can come up with that many....

1. My very favorite thing to do is travel
2. I usually cry when I see the ocean for the first time on a trip.
3. My wedding took place on a beach in Jamaica
4. It was just over 6 years ago.
5. My husband and I own rental properties for extra income.
6. It's a lot harder to be a landlord than I thought.
7. I still wonder what I'll be when I grow up.
8. In the meantime, I work in P.R. and event planning.
9. I fully believe there is a novel inside of me waiting to get out.
10. While I understand the importance of excercise and do it, I HATE it every single time.
11. I graduated from high school as a Junior.
12. We currently have a "foster dog" that is supposed to be up for adoption, but I can't forsee her ever leaving.
13. My two cats take up more room on the bed than I do.
14. That's why I have to sleep in the middle of my bed..RIGHT next to my husband.
15. He says he doesn't mind, but that I talk in my sleep A LOT.
16. I talk a lot when I'm awake too.
17. While I understand that patience is a virtue, I am NOT endowed with it.
18. There were only 23 people in my high school graduating class.
19. I attended and graduated from Oklahoma City University when they were the Chiefs, not the Stars.
20. Doing dishes by hand disgusts me...that water is GROSS.
21. My favorite place in the world is Costa Rica..the people are wonderful.
22. Men are usually surprised that I can talk sports with them.
23. Smoking disgust me, but I smoked in college (along with everyone I knew).
24. Quit smoking cold turkey right after I graduated college.
25. Wine is one of my favorite things...usually a red.
26. If red wine is good for your heart, I should be taken care of until I'm 70 or so.
27. Just recently, I turned 30.
28. I don't care...still feel about 25 in my mind.
29. My husband used to have a Harley motorcycle and it scared me.
30. Although I'm not really a sweet eater, I could eat McDonald's french fries until I pop!
31. But not with ketchup...I HATE ketchup...it's the only food/condiment I refuse to eat.
32. I will eat anything once and have never found anything (except ketchup) that I wouldn't eat again.
33. My favorite pizza is cheese.
34. I am obsessed with reading the news on the internet.
35. After discovering Trip Advisor, I am moderately obsessed with it too.
36. Before I visit any place, I create a "file" on it of places I want to eat, things to see, etc.
37. My family makes fun of this, but are usually glad I did it when we arrive.
38. My favorite hobby is reading.
39. I read fast...most books never take more than a day, often I will read several in a day.
40. I cannot help proofreading anything I read; signs, menus, etc, but hardly ever proof my own stuff.
41. In elementary school and Jr. High, I won the spelling bee 6 years in a row.
42. Sometimes I will still watch the National Spelling Bee on television.
43. After 6 years of piano lessons, I can only play "I Dropped My Dolly" and "Fur Elise".
44. I was a cheerleader.
45. We don't have any children, and my husband wants them more than I do.
46. Before I go to sleep every night I have to apply Carmex (I've even driven to the store late at night for the sole purpose of purchasing it).
47. I try to avoid chain restaurants at all costs.
48. Cold weather makes me want to hibernate.
49. My husband and I both want to learn Spanish.
50. My plan for retirement is a small house on a beach in Costa Rica.

These are awesome, there's not one person that I couldn't be very good friends with.. I have a lot in common with all of you!

We had a 2001 Road King Classic Harley - went on some awesome trips to Yosemite and all over Calfornia - that was one of the casualties of moving to OKC and taking the 'ideal job' that turned out to be not ideal. I feel so badly for my husband because it was his baby and he had it customized just for him... we sold it a year after moving here because he never rode it ( working 12 hours a day didn't leave much time and it was sitting in the garage). Not to mention, I worried endlessly about leaving our kids orphans..

Anyway, sorry to get off subject but your posts reminded me of our metallic 'baby'.

I hope everyone does this - it is a great way to get to know people... come on....

I hate to throw things away too. Especially furniture or anything that is made of wood. I always think I can make something of it one day all though I've never made anything before. Hopefully HGTV will teach me a few things!
