I was by Family Video recently, and I found it to be a decent place pricewise. I was asked if I would like to start an account, at which I said I'd think about it.

The reason I decided to think about it---since they're a seemingly new company and by virtue of their very name, I wonder if this store is a decent competitor as far as being able to buy any type of movie that would be found in, say, Blockbuster (limitations of stock notwithstanding)?

Or, are they merely a store that simply caters to "the whole family"?

They have them in Wichita and I find it very ironic that they have that name yet (in KS at least) they have an adult video room in the back.

I suppose that, based on that, they do cater to the "whole family"!

I joined last night, and for your first 30 days you get all rentals half off. I got Mario Kart Wii and GTA IV for $3.78 each for 5 nights. Not a bad deal! I joined just for the video games, because Gamefly is so slow, and I have Netflix for movies.
