The League of United Latin American Citizens has sent out a warning.
LULAC said a group claiming to be a Native American tribe is targeting illegal immigrants in Oklahoma City. The organization said the group is charging illegal immigrants hundreds of dollars to buy a tribal certificate.
Investigators said that the purchase of the certificate allows the illegal immigrants to get a social security card. Officials with LULAC and the Social Security office said it is a scam. |
