Default Monday Night Football...premier Sept. 13

I can feel the excitement in the air....Football season is almost here. This is MY time of the year when the big boys come out and throw the pigskin around. Just let me sit in my recliner, give me a Coke and some popcorn, and I am ready!! Go St. Louis Rams!!!!

Man oh man! Can't wait for football season to start! Both College and NFL that is! It's already feeling like fall out there and it's still August! What's up with the weather??? I'm definitely enjoying it!

ALL RIGHT KEITH!!! Another Rams nut, who'd have thought it? I remember growing up in Edmond, hard core Dallas Cowboys country, and people thinking I was warped for rooting for the LA Rams. Now there's Rams fans everywhere!

Dallas Cowboys? They still have a team? LOL. This may be more of a Dallas Cowboy's state, but I don't mind going against the grain.

Get rid of Jerry Jones, and I might consider going for te Cowboys...maybe! Jerry Jones makes me sick! He's a control freak!

Although my favorite team is the Denver Broncos, I put St. Louis up there as well! What a lovely city and a great team!

I have noticed that since Bill Parcells has been coach, the arrest rate for the Cowboys has gone down. Actually, I think it went way down after Barry Switzer left.

You know, after Barry Switzer left OU, if state prison systems had football teams, I'm sure the McAlester team would've been super...probably even won a national championship.

On another topic, although I don't normally like Jerry Jones, I do agree with himfor cutting Quincy Carter. If the guy can't stay off drugs then he doesn't deserve staying on the team.

Thank you, thank you. I'm not a local, but I'll accept on behalf of STL. It really is a great place as big cities go. Let me know if you ever head that way and I can play Chamber of Commerce and point you to the best places to go. And while I really really really love football this is a baseball city and the Cardinals are playing so well, they're just a joy to watch.

Actually we went there last summer....had a great time...went to Laclede's Landing for dinner many times, the arch, the old court house, Meramec Caverns, the zoo, Union Station Shopping area, Grant's Farm, Budweiser Brewery, Butterfly House, etc. We stayed at the Drury Inn at the arch...an old restored building, the old International Fur Exchange Building, circa 1919. It was lovely. We took a Gateway Riverboat Cruise for dinner one evening and I was really impressed. Great views of the Mississippi River. Also, I must say, the McDonald's Riverboat restaurant was one of the most unique McDonald's I've ever seen!

If we ever go again, I might look you up for an unofficial chamber of commerce tour.

I'm guessing you're from St. Louis now?
