Default Need loan

Anyone want to share a story about getting a home loan?

I'm shopping for a $50k home equity loan.

Any referrals to banks or brokers?

I've heard that Chase Manhattan is really good to work with.

I'd go to Bank of Oklahoma or BankOne. Try keeping your money with a state owned bank.

Angry Re: Need loan

No pool this year! Dad sold a car to my uncle and my uncle made a 30 day late payment that was reported to credit agencies a couple of weeks ago.
Dad's score dropped 100 points!:stars:
My SO and I can't get a decent loan because we don't have enough collateral and we both just bought new cars.

I'm sending a goodwill letter to GMAC. I hope this works.

Bank One, as it happens, has been absorbed into Chase.

(Side note: My mortgage is with BOk.)
