There's thousands of sites online offering quick loan for anyone with bad credit. I've sat here basically all night trying to actually get quick money wired to my account and it just goes on and on and on to different sites in a chain to apply and apply and apply.

Anyone know a good one that will actually do the work?

I would not trust anybody online. There are just way too many horror stories with identity theft.

If your are needing a small loan, I recommend Ok Loans on Air Depot in MWC. The ladies there are very friendly and they do not make you feel like garbage for having less then perfect credit. I have used them a few times when times were tough.

They are not a pay day lender. Stay away from the payday lenders unless you can pay the money back quickly. (1-2 weeks)

My suggestion: go to the library and check out Dave Ramsey's book, and never, never, never flirt with the payday lender folks again.

Amen to that. You can easily get caught in a situation you can never get out of getting one loan to pay off another. The interest rates are ridicuously high. These people prey on the poorest of us out there and should be outlawed.

It's always easy to condemn something if you have never been in a situation where you were forced to do the unthinkable payday or pawn loan. (Utility bill or Rent)

The key to a payday loan is to pay it off ASAP. In the short term, the intrest does not kill you. You pay the loan off in full on your pay day. However, you do have the option of re-opening the loan until your next payday. Keeping it open overtime does kill you.

It would be nice to live like Dave suggest, however, it is hard to do when you are in a low wage job. Fortunately, I am not there anymore.

I busted my butt, went to school and landed a real job. My suggestion to anyone struggling is to pick a field you know you would enjoy and go to school. The good schools will put you in touch with the companies offering jobs. Once you get the job learn the trade and move up through the company. If you don't like the company, get the expierence you need and move to a better company.

If your credit stinks, it's often better (and cheaper) to simply not pay whatever it is you have to pay and let the bill be a little late than it is to go with one of these loan outfits.

At any rate, definitely rate 'not paying' as an option if the penalties for doing so aren't going to be tough (obviously, don't get yourself evicted).

I'd avoid all those payday loan places if I were you. But then I have a Visa Platinum card, so it's easy for me to do.
