I grew up in OKC and now live in San Diego CA.
You should see the gas prices here!!

Hi NativeOkie - I know what you mean. I also live out of state and the board is nice to help me stay connected. I've got a girl working out just north of you and the pictures she sends back look very nice. All the same, there is no place like home. Are you liking it out in San Diego?

It is very nice here, however there are things you miss about Oklahoma.
Gas today was 4.74 per gallon. Bar BQ here is horrible.
There are many Sooner fans here which is great, I have not run in to a single OSU fan here. (also great)
California is nice but I'm still an Okie at heart. Sometimes work takes you away from home.

Sometimes you appreciate something more when you don't have it any more even if you are living in one of the country's favorite places. Me, I prefer it here,
there's too much traffic for me in San Diego.

Hahaha. I had a professor who used to insist that Okies come home, some day. I wasn't sure I agreed with him at the time but I have come to believe he was spot on the money.

I never knew OSU existed, until I lived here. Two hundred miles away, who would have guessed OU is bothered by such a small school!
